It follows Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham as their long-standing rivalry comes to a head. The same location was also used to represent Trenwith House in the BBC’s 2015 adaptation of Poldark.

When I first saw Rivals coming out, I was a little excited. I was nervous too ~ as I was a fan of the books after 5 minutes of the first episode and I was hooked.
I understand the frustration that Rupert has changed his look
Each episode is fast paced, never boring or dragging like so many of these mini-series. The characters are all unique and so well played, the acting and casting are fantastic.
This series is fun, bold, colorful, and nostalgic
but it’s really no big deal and has no lasting effect. It doesn’t disappoint at all, and let’s take a moment to appreciate David Tennen, once again the «bad» David Tennen.
